Eco for Education

Welcome to ecoforeducation.com!

Hi!  My name is Nicholas and this website is my project for the Texas PTA Environmental Awareness Contest.

We all have important values and ideas, things we care about and want to share. Sometimes we feel our ideas can even change the world, and we want to let other people know how they can join in and make all our lives better.  Everyone questions, "What can I do?".  Well, I believe that it can start with one bag...

What can we do to protect our environment?  Everyone knows that plastic bags are a major environmental concern.  We need to stop using them!  How can we do this?  Launch the Eco For Education challenge:

Participating supermarkets will agree to contribute 1% of the total grocery bill to the local school district anytime someone agrees not to use the store's grocery bags.

The customer must bring along their own bags or boxes.  Eco-friendly reusable shopping bags cost as little as 99 cents and can be provided to people willing to participate in this challenge.

Not using a plastic bag may seem like a small thing to do, but imagine if everyone in the country joins the Eco For Education challenge.  We'd be protecting our environment and helping our schools at the same time, one bag at a time!
